Austrian photographer Spencer Tunick gathered 1,840 naked people in the Happel Stadium on Sunday. In honor of the European Soccer Championship games the stadium will host next month, Tunick photographed the male and female volunteers separately posing with a soccer ball. He says that the experience united “the spirt of sports, the grand sweeping waves of stadium architecture and the abstract relation of the human form to modern structures.”

As recently as 1990, the following states had laws against the use of dildos:

This past April in Yemen, an 8-year-old girl, Nojoud Mohammed Ali, filed for divorce two weeks after being forced to marry a 30-year-old man, ABC News reported. Arranged marriages are still common and accepted in Yemen, though the law states that that marrying age is 15.

Nojoud Mohammed Ali ran from her home to a court house after two consecutive weeks of sexual abuse and physical violence. She found a lawyer willing to work with her, and a divorce was granted. Mojoud is the youngest divorcee in the world; and one of the most courageous girls we’ve heard of.

Much-hyped British artist Terence Koh unveiled a new work in Gateshead, England, of Jesus and several disciples at the Last Supper gifted with enormous erections.

Work like this is not uncommon for Koh. More uncommon was the painting by Austrian artist, Alfred Hrdlicka, revealed in Vienna at the Cathedral Museum—with the blessing of the archbishop, I might add—depicting the Last Supper as a homosexual orgy.

It was removed from the wall after various complaints in the first week of its showing.

A man was spotted masturbating in a Target parking lot earlier this year in Mary Esther, Fla., the Northwest Florida Daily News reported. Upon arrest he explained to cops he’d “tried to find pleasure” both at home and while driving, but couldn’t quite manage it. The police report alleged the man claimed to have “just left work and explained that he needed some personal time with himself that he could not have at home.” He was cited with indecent exposure.

Adding the roster of weird afflictions Playgirls come across is “Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome” (PSAS), defined as “intense feelings of genital congestion and sensations that are typically unaccompanied by any conscious awareness of sexual desire” by Dr. Sandra Leiblumin in an article published for the Cincinnati-based Women’s Sexual Health Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to educating women and doctors on conditions that may impact sexual health and function.

Leiblum is director of the Center for Sexual and Relationship Health at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey and author of “Principles and Practices of Sexual Therapy,” which touches upon PSAS.

Over at a PSAS online support group, moderators explain:

Persistent genital arousal is a condition in which a woman experiences insistent and unwanted genital arousal that is unaccompanied by conscious feelings of sexual desire or subjective arousal. The feelings of fullness in the genital area persist for an extended period of time (e.g., days, weeks or months) despite one or more orgasms. Orgasm does not result in resolving the genital arousal. The feelings of genital arousal are perceived as distressing, distracting and worrisome.

Oh, and the kicker: sexual activities intended to relieve the symptoms can reinforce the sensations or provide only temporary relief.

According to the law books over in the United Kingdom, it’s illegal to have sex on a parked motorcycle in London, England.

There’s no mention of legal issues surrounding banging while atop a moving hog, so we suppose that’s still okay.

Breast implants and thigh liposuction are out, toe-shortening and labia-reduction are in.

These days, more and more women are getting these unusual cosmetic procedures. According to David Alessi, M.D., of Beverly Hills, it is becoming common for women to request surgeries like ankle lipo.

Not a lot surprises this plastic surgeon, but he admitted to being a bit shocked when he received a most peculiar request from a young woman. “When I asked what she was here to see me about, she said, ‘I want to have my belly button removed.’ Completely removed,” said Dr. Alessi. Did he follow through on the removal? Dr. Alessi says he refused. “I often tell patients, as gently as I can, that they need to see a psychiatrist first, not a surgeon,” he said.

The Brazilian Butt Lift is another procedure rising in popularity. It consists of taking the fat from your waist or thighs, and placing them into your butt. The name comes from the appeal of the smaller bust and waist, and bigger booty, that you often see on Brazilian women. The allure far outweighs the actual results, according to Lorena, 37. After getting her rear pumped up, she suffered from lumps and open sores that eventually turned into an infection. “I had to have a large chunk of my right butt cheek removed,” she said. “I would tell any woman considering the procedure: Don’t do it! It’s not worth the risks.”

What’s the best option? Exercise! You can get the results you want with some good ol’ shapin’ up. Cardio for losing weight, lifting and strength training for building muscle, and squats for perking up the derriere. Not a fan of exercising? Try padded butt skivvies or Spanx, for a slimmed-down effect.

Either way, just weigh all the alternatives before you decide to get the fat sucked out of your shoulders.
