Fish Accused of Sexual Harassment

31Mar08

guppyBoy, are we lucky we’re not a certain endangered species of fish: If we were, we’d have some serious charges of sexual harassment to file. “That’s ridiculous!”, I hear you say; but according to LiveScience.com, male fish from Trinidad are invading Mexican rivers and assaulting the females of the endangered species of Skiffia bilineata.

Just to make our skin crawl a little more, the assaulting species—known familiarly as a guppy—has a violent sexual technique requiring them to literally hook their willies into the female’s vagina. The article states that the guppies are “not intentionally out to harm the endangered females or drive S. bilineata to extinction.”

So what—they’re just horny and in need of a good rodding? I bet a man couldn’t get away with that same excuse.—Rachel Brook
